Winner of Rivalry Series Tickets & WoProHoSeattle Jersey Giveaway

Congratulations to Kim Merrikin of Seattle Women’s Hockey Club for winning two club-level tickets to the USA vs. Canada Rivalry Series game in Vancouver on February 5 and a customized Women’s Pro Hockey Seattle jersey!

Kim said, “I have been wearing my Women’s Pro Hockey Seattle jersey proudly—and feeling WAY COOL—both as a spectator at the USA-Canada rivalry game in Vancouver and as a player with Seattle Women’s Hockey Club. And I can’t wait to wear it when I cheer on Seattle’s very own hometown women’s professional hockey team one day in the future!"

The WoProHoSeattle Rivalry Series ticket and jersey giveaway was promoted on social media and the winner’s name was picked out of ‘the hat’ and captured on video. Stay tuned for more giveaways on @WoProHoSeattle social media!

In Rivalry Series action, Team USA defeated Team Canada in Vancouver 3-1 to take a 3-1 lead in the overall Rivalry Series. The teams then moved on to Anaheim, CA a few days later for the final game of the series, which the US won in overtime with a score of 4-3, securing the 2019-2020 Rivalry Series Championship. The bigger story: the attendance at Honda Center was marked at 13,320 making it the largest crowd for a USA Hockey Women's National Team hockey game in the US!
